My miracle find.

I have to admit, I'm one for changing my hair colour.

I'm naturally very dark, so It can be tricky to lighten my hair, it usually involves quite a bit of stripping and bleaching... 

Which always seems like a great idea at the time, after a couple of washes when my hair feels like straw and begins to break left, right and centre however, I'm often left regretting my decision and going back to my darker side. 

It's a vicious circle, as soon as that sun comes out, I'm left lusting for my sun kissed lighter hair.

After the last lightning/darkening experience my hair was left in such awful condition I just didn't no what to do! 

I have very long, very thick hair, everybody would still compliment me on how amazing it was, but I new it needed sorting.

Admittedly, I did neglect it slightly, I'v never really (until recently) been much of a product junkie, however I was recommended what I believe to be my miracle product!!!

I use this product religiously once a week, as recommended, and I cannot believe the difference in my hair!

Softer, smoother, stronger, less breakage, and all round seems to be coping with life much better! 

There are so many products in this range that I keep meaning to get around to trying.

If their anything like this product they will be well worth the investment! 

In fact, this could be my perfect opportunity to treat myself...

Product research and all that ;)

Super cute, natural, pale pink...

It's kind of reminding me of little ballet shoes.....

I fancied something natural, fresh, clean and shiny, and this has it all....

I'm such an OPI addict!

This is definitely one of my favourites!

Pink business

With the sun shining, it's all about bright nails now. 

No more dark purples and winter colours, the summer colors are back out and I'm loving it! 

I found a new pink that I have been using this week. 

It's by china glaze, and is called Pink Voltage. 

So this picture doesn't really do it justice but it's one of the most wearable neon pinks I'v come across. It seems to dry to a matte finish, but I'v been topping it off with a clear top coat that really makes it pop! 

It has a super cute pearlescent finish to it aswell.

 

I'v been using it this week, these are a couple of my favourite sets using this polish.....

I'm on the hunt for lime green now...

I shall keep you updated.

Pregnancy waiting game.......

I'm over 38 weeks pregnant now, and feel like I'v been cooking my little pudding forever!

I'm really really suffering from pregnancy boredom, it's the waiting that gets me!

I'v baked....

Cleaned...

Painted my nails...

Painted everyone else's nails...

Painted the nursery walls...

Been for long walks...

Eaten the remains of the fridge.....

What now?!

I have to admit though, I am loving a little bit of me time, it does feel like a treat.

I'm also checking out all of the latest nail trends, all these gorgeous pastel colours this spring are getting me so excited for the sunshine! 

I love the colours from the Ciate dollhouse collection. I was lucky enough to assist at London fashion week and these were used! They are really beautiful! 

They are definitely on my spring/summer must have list!

-negative space

So it's no secret I'm a little bit obsessed with this trend at the moment. 

So today I decided to play about on one of my clients and face this head on...

I love the effect negative space gives, and topped off with a super glossy topcoat, or gel, it just really makes any design come into it's own. 

I'm usually a sucker for black and negative space, so today I decided to spread my wings a little and throw in some crazy colours.

I decided to stick with a pretty simple design today and this is the result...

Nailspiration...

I thought I'd pop a super quick post about a set of nails I did today... 

I used Models own Naked Glow from their new hyper gel range. I love the shine of these polishes, especially with a top coat on top. 

For the detailing I used my favourite acrylic paints by Crystal nails...
